Prayer, vigil service for Boston
TURNER — In the wake of the Boston bombings, the North Turner Union Presbyterian Church will hold a prayer and candlelight vigil service from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at 58 Howes Corner Road, North Turner.
“As people are feeling overwhelmed and helpless in the days after the Boston bombings, this church provides a place for people to come together to share a time of sadness, comfort and prayer,” Rev. Lissa Bradford said. “As an important part of this community we feel a responsibility to offer this time of prayer for the hundreds of people impacted by Monday’s bombings. The ripple effect is huge. When folks are feeling helpless that is something we can do: pray.”
