WILTON — Police are investigating a burglary at a Tamarack Street home where a collection of 300 DVDs, a push lawnmower, hand tools, toys and a bucket of change were taken while the homeowner was away.
The homeowner returned Monday, after a couple weeks away, to find unlocked doors which should have been locked, and that someone had used force to open a shed door and take the items, police Chief Heidi Wilcox said. The homeowner called police about noon Monday. The exact time of the burglary cannot be pinpointed, she said.
The home is in Arkay Mobile Home Park.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Police Department at 645-3876.
