St. Mary’s school reunion
LEWISTON — A reunion is being planned for St. Mary’s Parochial School for all the students who graduated or attended in the 1960s, including the school closing in 1967 or ’68.
The reunion will take place June 2 at the Franco American Heritage Center. The reservation deadline is May 1.
Classmates are asked to call Rena Barnett at 782-1512 as soon as possible.
Pine Grove Cemetery meeting
POLAND — The annual meeting of The Pine Grove Cemetery Corporation will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the Ricker Memorial Library. All lot owners are welcome to attend.
Law Day 2013 speaker at library
LEWISTON — Attorney Michael Bigos will be the speaker at an event as part of Law Day 2013 at noon Wednesday, May 1, at Lewiston Public Library.
Bigos, an attorney with Berman & Simmons, will give a presentation relating to legal issues and then make time to meet with individuals for short legal consultations.

Destination Imagination team
HEBRON — Hebron Station Elementary School’s Team Vroom won first place at Destination Imagination’s “In The Zone” competition on April 6 at UMO.
Six third-graders and one second-grader make up the team. Dave Dunn and Elizabeth Dunn are the coaches.
The team will advance to the four-day global tournament held in May at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. D.I. is a problem solving organization that encourages kids of all ages to seek information, research, create and collaborate. The kids have to do all the work themselves.
