LEWISTON — Donald R. Raymond, 91, of Auburn, passed away in peace on Sunday, April 28, at Marshwood Center.
He was born on June 29, 1921, in Mechanic Falls, the son of Carroll G. and Martha Raymond. He spent many years at BIW before retiring as a ship super.
He is survived by Jean Parlin, his dear friend of many years; his sister, Viola Stone; his son, Ronald and wife, Ann, of Monmouth; two grandsons, Patrick and wife, Meg, of Buxton, and Jeffrey of Croydon, N.H.; great-grandchildren, Owen and Lily; and nieces, Evelyn, Carol and Valerie.
He was predeceased by his wife, Methyl; a son, Robert; and brothers, Chester, Harold and Wilson.
