FAYETTE — The fifth annual Fayette Fun Festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Fayette Central School on Main Street (Route 17).

Children are invited to jump in the bounce house, race through the giant inflatable obstacle course and explore the trucks, tractors and equipment in the touch-a-truck area.

The Fayette Fun Festival also has farm animals, and agricultural displays and demonstrations. Kids can plant a seedling or take a pony ride.

Visitors can check out the Fayette firetruck and spray targets with the fire hose or send a friend or family member to “jail.”

There will be many carnival-style games for the kids. Kids and adults can test their skills in the free-throw and hula-hoop contests. Win a sweet treat in the cupcake walk and join in on one or all three of the candy drops throughout the day.

Participants can do a little shopping and get ready for summer at the children’s clothing swap/sale in the gym during the festival.
