NEW SHARON — A Dixfield man received minor injuries when the motorcycle he was driving ran into the back of a car on Route 2, Franklin County Lt. David Rackliffe said Monday.

Keith Langervin, 22, was reported to have been thrown over the car by the force of the impact late Friday afternoon, he said, according to Deputy Christopher Chase’ accident report.

An Audi driven by Martin Capewell, 32, of Freeman Township was stopped just before 5 p.m. to make a left turn into Sandy River Farm Supply when the 2007 Honda motorcycle hit the back of it, Rackliffe said.

The motorcycle was heavily damaged in the crash.
