1937 – 2013
CHESTERVILLE — Ellen J. Webber, 75, of Chesterville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 22.
She was born in Littleton, N.H. in 1937, the daughter of Harry and Beatrice Williams. She attended schools in Phillips. On June 19, 1955, she married Stephen Webber, and the couple began their family in 1957.
Ellen worked at local shoe shops and also at the corn shop at night. When the shoe shop in Livermore closed, she went back to school and became a CNA, working at Orchard Park until her retirement.
She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, crocheting, growing plants and flowers, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren.
Ellen is survived by her daughter, Marie Whittier and her husband, Terry, of New Sharon; two sons, Maynard Webber and his wife, Cindy, of Georgia, and Michael Webber and his wife, Loretta, of Livermore Falls; 12 grandchildren, Amanda, Timothy, Zach, Mike, Tiffany, Crystal, Angela, Justin, Ryan, Rose, Robert, and Raymond; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband.
