WEST PARIS — The First Universalist Church of West Paris will hold its third annual Rhubarb Festival and yard sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 8, at the church on Main Street.
The theme is Everything Rhubarb, once again. In addition to the church’s famous rhubarb pies, everything from rhubarb muffins to rhubarb spring tonic will be offered. The Rhubarb Festival also features a yard sale and a handmade crafts area.
The church’s pie sale has always been a greatly anticipated event. Each year the pies, and now other rhubarb treats, sell out fast.
The church’s Goodwill Fellowship members and others created a cookbook which includes a chapter on rhubarb recipes. The cookbook will also be on sale during the festival.
