- On March 18, thirteen students from RSU 16 schools participated in the annual Tri-Town Optimist Club’s Oratorical Contest at Minot Consolidated School. These sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students delivered four-minute speeches which they had prepared on the topic “Why My Voice is Important.” Participants were, front row from left, Twilight Smart-Benson, Madeleine Tiner, Adeline Fabian, Hannah Mickool and Hannah St. Hilaire.
