LIVERMORE FALLS — A New Vineyard woman’s vehicle was involved in two accidents Tuesday afternoon just minutes apart.

Karen Hill, 60, was driving her 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass down upper Depot Street when it and a vehicle heading in the other direction collided, Lt. Thomas Gould said Tuesday.

Hill pulled into Ware-Butler to fill out an accident report. When she finished, she backed out and struck a trailer on a PalletOne Inc. truck. The truck was going around the corner on Route 133 when Hill’s car hit the trailer, he said.

Neither Hill nor the driver of the 2013 Kia, Jenna Cote, 26, of Livermore was injured in the first accident. Each vehicle received about $1,000 in damage.

The driver of the PalletOne truck, Michael Caron, 52, of Turner was also not injured, he said.

Hill’s car received an additional $1,000 damage in that accident. The trailer was not damaged, Gould said.

Officer Joe Sage investigated both accidents. No tickets were issued.
