GREENE — A benefit spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at the Greene Grange Hall, 99 Main St.
Funds raised will be used for a memorial bench at Greene Central School in memory of Nathan J. Capponi, who passed away unexpectedly in March and was a first-grader at the school. A bench dedication ceremony will follow at 8 p.m. at Greene Central School.
Tickets for the dinner will be $6 for adults and children age 8 and over, and $3 for children age 7 and under. Tickets will be sold at the door.
Friends and family are working to collect donations of food, materials and raffle prizes for the benefit dinner. Raffle tickets will be sold on site for $1 per ticket or an arm’s length for $10. Raffle prizes collected to date include a Ray Bourque signed Boston Bruins hockey stick, a lobster dinner for four, items from Pampered Chef and Thirty-One, gift certificates for Hurricane’s Café & Deli, EllieAnna Purse Co., Cole Farms, Spring Meadows Golf Club, a mini photography session with Lost in Reverie Photography and much more.
