St. Michael’s service changes
AUBURN – Sunday services at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 78 Pleasant St., will change for the summer beginning on Sunday, June 16.
There will be one service at 9 a.m. instead of the two at 8 and 10 a.m. The two-service schedule will resume after Labor Day.
Kairos Prison Ministry at service
LEWISTON — Calvary United Methodist Church’s service will include a presentation by the Kairos Prison Ministry at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 16.
Music will be provided by the church’s Praise Team directed by Mitch Thomas. Fellowship for all follows the service. Child care is available
The church is at 59 Sabattus St., “on the triangle.” All are welcome. Call 782-3221 for more information.
Church year ends at First U
PARIS — Sunday, June 16 marks the close of the 2012-13 church year for the First Universalist Church on Pine Street. Silver Moore-Leamon will lead the 10 a.m. worship service with a sermon entitled “Farewells.”
Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd and Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service and all are welcome.
Child care is available and the First Universalist Church is wheelchair accessible.
After summer break regular worship services will resume at 10 a.m. on Sept. 8.
Kingdom Rock Bible school
FARMINGTON — Kingdom Rock vacation Bible school will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. July 8-12 at Farmington Baptist Church, 194 Whittier Road.
The theme is an epic adventure that empowers kids to stand strong for God. Here, God’s victorious power isn’t a fairy tale; it changes kids forever. Children will explore God’s word, sing songs, play games at the “Palace Playground,” see Bible truths in action at Imagination Station and more.
