Summer concerts on Thursdays
MEXICO — Mexico Recreation Park on Route 17 will be the site of summer concerts on Thursday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. throughout the summer.
The Country Trio Band will be on stage, weather permitting, every Thursday evening.
Bring a comfortable chair, light jacket, blanket and picnic supper and enjoy some good ole country, bluegrass and oldies music.
Ellis River Riders shows planned
ANDOVER — Ellis River Riders will hold a Gymkhana Horse Show at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 6, and an Open Horse Show at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 7. The event is free for spectators. For information contact show@ellisriverriders.com.
Girls basketball car wash, bottle drive
RUMFORD — The Camp Hardwood Girls Basketball team will hold a car wash and bottle drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at the Rumford Information Booth. To donate or any questions call 364-0890.
