LIVERMORE — The town’s Transfer Station staff has arranged for a confidential record “Shredding Day” on July 13 with the town’s recycling organization, Oxford County Regional Recycling.
Shredding will be done off premises, but the organization will send a locked container along with a bonded person to watch over it and follow it to a commercial shredding operation, administrative assistant Kurt Schaub said.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Transfer Station.
This service will provide residents a way to get rid of old bills or other paperwork that may contain information they would rather not have others see, he said.
There will be no cost to residents for the service, he said.
