Silent Sam & the Evans is comprised of Evan Chase as lead singer, songwriter, guitar and mandolin; Sam Higgins on bass, and Evan Casás as drums, secondary vocalist, electronic and audio engineering. The Portland-based trio just released a new EP “City Life” which features six tracks of the band’s unique sound.

The concerts take place on Thursday evenings in the summer, and are free and open to the public. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the library’s Reading Room.
