LEWISTON — Stephen P. Copeland, 54, a resident of Campground Road, Fayette, died Thursday, July 4, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 22, 1958, in Lewiston, the son of Ben Copeland and Arlene Ace and raised by Larry Plummer and Arlene. He attended Livermore Falls High School and later received his GED.
On Oct. 16, 2004, in Livermore Falls, he married Sherry (Ward) Davis. In his earlier years, he worked as a long haul truck driver and currently worked at Pallet One in Livermore Falls.
Stephen enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and his cats and chickens. He especially loved spending time with his family and his cat “Smoke.”
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Copeland of Fayette; his son, Paul Copeland and his wife, Chelsea, of Wiscasset; his daughter, Vicky Scott and her husband, Patrick, of Colorado; four grandchildren; his father, Ben Copeland of Canton; his mother, Arlene Plummer of Fayette; siblings, Gary Copeland and his wife, Susan, of Fayette, David Copeland and his companion, Hilda, of Jay, Dan Copeland and his wife, Patty, of Iowa, Raymond Copeland and his wife, Trish, of California, Nancy Mason and her husband, Robert, of Fayette and Marlene White and her husband, Jim, of Lewiston; stepson, Frank Davis Jr. of Livermore Falls; stepdaughter, Barbara Davis of Turner; stepgrandson, Brady Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his “Dad,” Larry Plummer.
