WEST PARIS — Margaret Marston, 78, of Hartford died Tuesday, July 9 at Ledgeview Living Center.

She was born in West Paris, June 28, 1935, the daughter of Willard and Elizabeth Farr. She graduated from West Paris High School in 1954 and married George Marston in June 19, 1955.

She had been the head cook at Hartford/Sumner Elementary School for many years. Her passion was working at the school and doing things for the kids. She was a member of the Hartford Community Church and The Women’s Group in Hartford.

She enjoyed dancing, snowmobiling and taking care of everyone. She loved her children and grandchildren and would do anything for them. She was noted for her yeast rolls.

She is survived by a daughter, Joline Tripp and husband, Daniel; two sons, Stephen Marston and Kendall Marston and wife, Debra; six grandchildren, Danell, Eric, Brian, Sacha, Ashley and Angel; and five great-grandchildren, Abby, Haley, Isaac, Silas and Emma.

She was predeceased by her husband, George.
