Plant sale benefits Ricker Library
POLAND — Daylilies bring color and splendor to summer gardens. Friends of Ricker Library will bring sturdy plants to gardeners when they, along with growers Terri and Steve Young, offer more than 125 varieties of daylilies for sale on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14. The sale will take place at 158 Jackson Road between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
Plants will sell for $5 apiece; buy five and get one free. There will be daylilies in various heights and colors, ruffled and spider lilies among them. The Youngs have found that the low maintenance feature of daylilies make them a popular choice for lawns and gardens.
