OQUOSSOC — Music from the Lake will be on Mooselookmeguntic for the first time. Sounds of brass music will float across the water on Wednesday, July 31, from the horns of the popular DownEast Brass.

Making up the brass quintet are trumpeters Dwight Tibbetts and Andy Forster, trombonist Mike Peterson, tuba player and bassist Mark Mumme and French horn player D. Loren Fields.
As music educators, the five musicians seek to reach audiences of all ages with original and entertaining programming.
The band will dock at Bald Mountain Camps for a concert starting at 7:45 p.m. Admission is $10 for this joint venture of the Rangeley Friends of the Arts, Rangeley Region Lake Cruises, and Bald Mt. Camps. For tickets, call 207-864-5364 or visit the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce office, 6 Park Road, Rangeley. For more information, visit rangeleyarts.org.
