WILTON — The East Wilton Union Church will host its annual August “Concerts on the Lawn” series starting Sunday, Aug. 4. Performances of Christian music are at 6 p.m. every Sunday in August at the church at 1306 Main St.
Chairs are provided, but listeners may bring a lawn chair or blanket. If it rains, the concerts are moved indoors. A time of fellowship with light refreshments will follow each concert.
All are welcome. Admission is free, but there will be an opportunity for a free-will offering.
The concert schedule follows:
Aug. 4 — The Hyssongs, gospel family trio
Aug. 11 — Greater Purpose, local gospel group featuring original songs
Aug. 18 — Mark Butler, Southern / country gospel singer
Aug. 25 — Journey Home, local gospel-singing family
