LEWISTON — The Public Theatre at 31 Maple St. was named Best Theater in this year’s Best of Maine Down East issue.
Down East readers and editors selected their statewide favorites this year.
The Public Theatre is a professional Equity theater dedicated to producing Broadway-quality theater for the people in Maine at an affordable price. The theater produces an exciting selection of contemporary plays every October through May, featuring professional actors from New York City to Los Angeles.
