HARTFORD — Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp will present a weekend of spiritual exploration on July 26, 27 and 28 with The Rev. John Lilek And Greta Lilek.
Sunday programs will be at the Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St., Route 140. All other events will be held at 25 Camp Road.
Gallery readings will be at 7 p.m. Friday, July 26. Using the same format demonstrated by mediums such as John Edward and James Van Praugh, Rev. Lilek will deliver messages from loved ones who have passed to the spirit world. $20 donation.
“Transforming Your Mediumistic Abilities to Higher Levels” will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 27. This comprehensive, one-day workshop is designed for mediums of all levels, from beginner to advanced. There is instruction with a series of workshops to challenge each class member in a progressive, step by step process to open the mediumistic and psychic senses with more clarity, building confidence along the way.
Many times what holds each of us back is ourself, by limitations of self-doubt, fear and low expectations of our gifts. Through this workshop, develop the tools to overcome those limitations.
Some of the topics covered will be understanding how your spiritual gifts were revealed to you; building higher self-esteem and with deeper understanding of our life events; learning to relax, visualize and concentrate through guided meditation; learning to open all of your psychic senses by looking within, a guided meditation; seeing into vibrations of others; opening and developing tools of symbolism (names, dates, numbers, seeing and describing spirit and physical faces); and guided meditation into seeing remotely into past life experiences.
Donation is $75.
A devotional service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 28, will be followed by a potluck lunch.
Greta Lilek will present “Empowering Your Life Through Positive Thought” at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 28.
The workshop is to help identify the thought process that determines our lives. We are each responsible for all of our experiences and these in return create our future. This workshop will help to release the past and heal our futures. Self-approval and self-acceptance are the keys to positive changes. This workshop is comprised of exercises in meditation and is also recommended for healers. The program lasts 1 1/2 hours and donation is $25.
“Spirit Flame Card Messages” with Rev. John Lilek will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 28.
This course covers the science, attitude and technique in manifesting actual faces and images on plain index cards. By allowing spirit to guide your hand to pass the card over the flame, spirit sometimes adds colors to the carbon from the candle, and sometimes draws pictures or writes on them, so it becomes two gifts in one, flame card messages and actual card precipitation. The donation for the two-hour program is $25.
John and Greta will be available for private readings Saturday and Sunday evenings. Half-hour readings are $50, one hour is $90.
Animal healings with Greta Lilek are available by appointment. Bring your pet; healings last approximately 20 minutes, or longer if the pet can tolerate the energies longer. No animal is too big or small.
