AUBURN — Lucien R. Dionne, 69, of Greene and formerly of Lewiston passed away on July 23, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.
He was born in Lewiston, Dec. 22, 1943, the son of Oscar and Cecile (Savigny) Dionne.
He worked as a carpenter and in construction for many years and later as a truck driver for Pioneer Plastics for 10 years until his retirement.
Lucien enjoyed his antique cars, wheeling and dealing many types of items and always keeping active by building things.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Hartnett) Dionne, whom he married on April 12, 1969 of Greene; his sister-in-law, Madeleine Dionne of Mechanic Falls; his brothers-in-law John Hartnett of Greene and Maurice Despres of Auburn; his nephews, Jerry Despres of Auburn and Ricky Dionne and wife, Cathy, of Mechanic Falls; three grandnieces, Emily Dionne and fiancé, McKyle Foster, Stephanie Dionne and fiancé, Carl Bates and Jennifer Dionne; a grandnephew, Dustin Dionne.
He was predeceased by his brother, Henry Dionne; his sisters, Carmen Despres and Irene Nault; and a nephew, Danny Dionne.
The family would like to thank the Hospice House for the wonderful care they gave to Lucien.
