I am writing because I believe Lewiston is the latest victim of the government’s ploy to take rights from the citizens. I believe we are next in line to be infected with this epidemic of blatant abuse of our great country’s misguided perception that its citizens are here to serve the government.
I am in the process of building a campaign to let the citizens of Lewiston know that they deserve the rights guaranteed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Those who are familiar with the downtown area of Lewiston are aware that it has been forsaken by the city.
That is not what the Founding Fathers had in mind and constant abuse and propaganda has done irreparable harm to the downtown community.
I want the citizens of Lewiston, of the state of Maine, as well as the United States, that Americans dictate where control lies and we pass verdict on those who abuse the authority we bestow.
I do not foresee a revolution coming, but 1,000 small messages would have the same effect. Change is the effect and I hope others will see and feel the urge to come forth and want to assist in rectifying the injustices to which the downtown Lewiston patrons are constant victims, and for no just cause.
