FARMINGTON — A 14-year-old Franklin County boy is facing a felony unlawful sexual contact charge against a child under 12 years of age.

Franklin County Detective Ken Charles conducted an investigation and arrested the teenager on Friday, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said Monday.

He was taken to Mountain View Youth Development Center in Charleston.

He is scheduled for a hearing on Tuesday in a juvenile court.
