FARMINGTON — Kenneth H. Abbott, 60, died Monday, July 29, at the Sandy River Nursing Home in Farmington. He was a resident of Roxbury Road in Mexico.
He was born in Rumford on Aug. 24, 1952, the son of Norman and Arlene (Goff) Abbott. He was a graduate of Mexico High school and worked as a crane operator for Daniels Construction and Cianbro.
Survivors include his daughter, Breanne Hewins and her husband, Craig, of Fayette; his two granddaughters, Delsi and Jarni Hewins of Fayette; his mother, Arlene Abbott of Mexico; two brothers, Chesley Abbott of Frye and Michael Abbott and his wife, Penny Lyn, of Cornville; and two sisters, Peggy Marcoux and her husband, Gerry, of Dixfield, and Jo-Ann Abbott of Lisbon.
He was predeceased by his father, Norman; a sister, Donna Rouse; and two brothers, James and Dennis.
