Some of Hardy’s favorite places to paint include her own screened porch at home, Bailey’s Island, Pemaquid Point, Hermit Island and Mount Desert Island.
She also enjoys using acrylics, gouache, pastels, graphite, pen and ink, or combinations of these.
Her work continues to be displayed in many homes, businesses and restaurants throughout Western Maine as well as at the Norway Savings Bank Operations Center.
Hardy lives with her husband and two sons in the Norway hills with a view of Streaked Mountain.
Hardy’s work will also be on exhibit at McLaughlin Gardens for the month of August.
