AUBURN — City officials will host a public hearing Thursday to discuss rules for flea markets, peddlers and garage sale permits.
City ordinances currently require peddlers and people hosting sales on city sidewalks to get a license from the Police Department. Residents also need to get a permit to schedule a garage sale.
City staff are working to update those rules, according to a statement issued Friday, but wanted to get public input and opinions for recommending changes the City Council.
The hour-long meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday in Auburn Hall.
