1922 – 2013

WEST PARIS — Lawrence Craig, 90, of West Paris, went to be with the Lord and was reunited with his wife, Margaret, on Monday, Aug. 5. Larry, faithful to the end, spent his last days at Ledgeview Nursing Home singing hymns to ease his pain.

He was born on Aug. 29, 1922. Larry was a former school teacher, who also sold insurance and served his country as a Marine.

Larry knew his past mistakes were forgiven by Christ and was anxious to be welcomed into his eternal home.

He enjoyed rides in his Dodge Charger and spending time with his dog, Chloe-Loulou. Larry had a genuine care for others and helped people whenever he could. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and generosity.
