BRIDGTON — Carmen Lone, executive director of the Bridgton Community Center, has announced a full venue for the scheduled Performance Café being held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11.

Musicians from the area will perform an eclectic program of music and readings, including Bridgton Brass, with Bob Ryan and friends; The Notations, with Ginny Halligan on flute, George Szox on violin and the tinkling of the ivories by Carolyn Stanhope; and guitarist Jack Jolie, who will sing and play Americana songs.

The Performance Café at the BCC is new to the center’s programming. The BCC has recently received a grant from the Peter Terry Fund to purchase sound equipment that will set the stage for all variety of performers. To say that the Bridgton area is rich with talent is an understatement.

The Performance Café will provide a stage for not only the accomplished performers but also an opportunity for up and coming talent. To participate contact Jack Down at 207-647-3116.
