WINTHROP –To wind up the summer concert series, the Concerts at Norcross Point, will feature two double-header weekends in a row.
The first will begin from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, with the Muddy Marsh Ramblers, a genuine blue grass band out of Portland. This concert coincides with the annual Winthrop Art Walk.
The second half of this weekend will be from 2-4 on Sunday, Aug. 18, with the Rob Carlton Band, Caleb Orion and Will Leavitt. The public is welcome to bring an instrument and sign up to perform as well.
The second double header is one day only, Sunday, Aug. 25, with Simons and Goodwin performing from 1-3 p.m., followed by Bertha’s Crib from 3-5 p.m. Bring a picnic or enjoy the delicious offerings of our local eateries. There are picnic tables and benches, but bring your own chairs or blankets for more comfort.
Norcross Point is off Bowdoin Street next to the boat landing on Maranacook Lake. For more information, call 207-620-6231.
