The Androscoggin Land Trust and Lewiston Auburn Canoe and Kayak Rental will be working together to offer float trips on the river during the Great Falls Balloon Festival from Aug. 16 to 18. LA Canoe and Kayak will also offer guided raft trips down river between launches. The Weber family is visiting from Washington, D.C., and rented kayaks from LA Canoe and Kayak. “We love visiting the lakes and rivers of Maine,” Julie Weber said.
