Congratulations to the Sun Journal for exposing the detailed reporting of the most recent outrageous comment from the man many people are ashamed to call their governor (editorial, Aug. 21). Not satisfied just being a disgrace to this state, in this country, LePage goes international on social and news media.
The Sun Journal never once resorted to his thoughtless, vulgar, bullying language, but simply told it like it so shamefully is — Mainers are a proud, fair, open-minded and thoughtful people. The state’s major communicator to the world now is defensive, bigoted, close-minded and thoughtless.
He will remain the voice of Maine until the next election. He simply is too stubbornly unaware to have the good sense to resign.
