- Nancy Allen, adult education director for Region 9 School of Applied Technology in Mexico, serves student Jesse Brooks-Fleury at the school barbecue Wednesday while custodian Randy Gallant hands Sam Cote a hamburger. Both students attend Dirigo High School in Dixfield and are studying fire science. Half of the Region 9 students returned to class Wednesday and the rest will begin Thursday.
