LEWISTON — A joyous celebration was held Aug. 3 for Alfred and Anita Boucher of Lewiston, to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary. The event was held at The Sedgley Place.

Party hosts were Donald and Gisele, Shirley and Sal, Dick and Linda and Sandy and Jeff, children of the couple.

Mr. Boucher and the former Anita Pelletier were married Aug. 3, 1943, at St. Hilaire Church in St. Hilaire, New Brunswick, Canada. They moved to Lewiston from Canada, where they have lived for the past 70 years.

Their grandchildren are Jamie, Pamela, Travis, Nicole, Jody, Melissa, Shannon and Sunsearae. Their great-grandchildren are Jenna, Jalee, Hunter, Haydon, Audrey, Greta, Grace, Michael, Matthew, Jordan, Taylor and Derek.
