A Walmart truck trying to turn from South Avenue onto Lisbon Street in Lewiston on Thursday night cut the corner too close, breaking a utility pole and interrupting traffic signals. The intersection was closed for about half an hour until Central Maine Power arrived. A CMP lineman on scene said the pole was in no danger of falling and likely would not be replaced until Friday morning.
