Lasagna dinner at Sons of Italy
RUMFORD — A lasagna dinner with meatballs and sauce, salad, rolls and dessert will be served beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Sons of Italy Hall.
Ludden Preschool Storytime resumes
DIXFIELD — The Pre-School Storytime program at Ludden Memorial Library has started back up. The program will be held every Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Participants will read age appropriate books, do a fun craft and enjoying a healthy snack.
Storytime follows the same schedule as the schools in the area; if school is canceled, so is Storytime.
Carthage Historical Society to meet
CARTHAGE — On Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Carthage Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting at the museum.
There will be a 5:30 potluck supper with the meeting to follow.

Soup kitchen to begin at Legion
DIXFIELD — A soup kitchen will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the third Friday of every month starting Sept. 20 at American Legion Post 100, 18 River Lane.
