GRAY (AP) — Four men face terrorizing charges for allegedly trying to force their way into a Gray home in retaliation for a previous assault.
Police said the men cut power to the home and tried to kick in the door on Wednesday night.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said the men were unable to get in and eventually left in a car. They were found in Cumberland.
No injuries were reported.
Police told The Portland Press Herald (http://bit.ly/1eqVIvh ) they think the attempt was retaliation for an assault that took place over the weekend at a Portland club. The target of Wednesday’s break-in attempt allegedly attacked one of the suspects.
They were identified as 49-year-old Andrew Thorne; 58-year-old Scott Lombardi; 58-year-old Michael Maietta; and 61-year-old Joseph Nightingale.
