DIXFIELD — Kaylee Veilleux found the back of the net at 20:24 in the second half to lift Oak Hill to a 1-0 win over Dirigo in field hockey action Friday afternoon.
The Raiders recorded three shots on goal in each half. Hayley Marshall assisted on Veilleux’s goal.
Goalie Amanda Dolloff made four saves for the Cougars, while goalie Abby Fuller notched the win with a single save for Oak Hill.
Hall-Dale 3, Mountain Valley 1
RUMFORD — Sharry Gilbert sparked a Hall-Dale second comeback with two goals in the 3-1 victory over Mountain Valley in a field hockey game.
Nicole Pelletier picked the third goal for Hall-Dale in the second half while Liz Bernier picked up two assists.
Lexi Dugay picked up the lone goal for Mountain Valley (2-2) in the first half which was assisted by Ellie Hall.
Molly French had 12 saves for Hall-Dale while Kassie Thibodeau made 14 saves for Mountain Valley.
Boys’ soccer
Mt. Abram 4, Telstar 1
SALEM — Junior forward Gerardo Rio netted a pair of goals to lead Mt. Abram to a 4-1 victory over Telstar in MVC boys’ soccer action Friday evening.
The Roadrunners (3-1) had a strong first half with three tallies.
Goalie Bronson Dean made 17 saves for the Rebels (1-2), while goalie Tristen Dyer turned back four shots to earn the win in net for Mt. Abram.
Girls’ soccer
Poland 7, Old Orchard Beach 0
OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Emily Bolduc scored a hat trick as Poland cruised to a 7-0 victory over Old Orchard Beach in girls’ varsity soccer action Friday evening.
The Knights (1-0) led 2-0 at the half. Bolduc also assisted on three of the remaining four goals for Poland
Goalie Haley Whitworth made three saves, while Erin Brewer prevented one in goal for Poland.
Women’ soccer
Thomas 8, Daniel Webster 0
NASHUA, N.H. — Thomas College scored four goals in each half on their way to an 8-0 victory over Daniel Webster in a regional women’s soccer matchup Friday afternoon at Eagle Field.
Kasja Kaufeldt led the Terriers (2-3) with a pair of first half goals, while Kristi Hilton, Elizabeth Goodall, Elizabeth McPhillips, Haylee Cote and Kristina Emmons notched a goal apiece.
Goalie Kerry Hager made six saves for Daniel Webster, while goalie Kate Thibodeau prevented one to earn the win in net for Thomas College.
