AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County will begin its 2013-14 year with a “Meet and Greet” for current and prospective members to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the historic Horatio and Ella Foss House, 19 Elm St.
A light luncheon will be served. WLU members are encouraged to bring guests.
Organized in 1892, the Woman’s Literary Union is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to further the intellectual, cultural and educational advancement of its members and the community, and preserve the nationally registered Horatio Foss Mansion.
