OK, so our “beloved” president and Congress have struck again. Due to their choice of “sequestering,” the Maine State Housing Authority has less funds, which means fewer vouchers for housing this year.
It was reported by a local television station that Lewiston is unable to give out as many vouchers as it did last year.
I believe a man or woman should work for a home, but does this make any sense? Congress gives out millions of dollars to countries such as Mexico, Libya, Haiti, etc., (I could go on and on). That makes a whole lot of sense, doesn’t it?
To my way of thinking, charity begins at home.
