- Rita Hebert, 71, bags up vegetables at her and her husband’s vegetable stand on Northern Avenue in Auburn on Friday afternoon. “We grow all of the vegetables we sell on our two acres,” said Marcel Hebert, 72. “It’s just us working in the gardens.” The couple has been running the stand for 16 years and will close for the season on Sunday, Sept. 29.
