RUMFORD — The Friends of Black Mountain Ski Resort fundraising committee is gearing up for their upcoming inaugural Benefit Golf Tournament on Sunday, Sept. 29.

The 18 hole, four ball scramble will get underway with an 8 a.m. registration and a 9 a.m. shotgun start. A light breakfast and the luncheon will be included in the fees. Awards, presentation and the final games will be held after the tournament.

Teams will be competing for awards and prizes, including a grand prize for the first person to get a hole-in-one on the fourth green.

A number of sponsorship packages are also available for individuals or businesses who wish to contribute with cash or prize donations.
