LEWISTON — Representatives from Cafe Bread Shack, a locally owned and operated award-winning bakery, celebrated the official grand opening of their second location with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 97 Lisbon Street in Lewiston.
Serving fresh coffee, croissants, hand-made artisan breads, pastries, rolls, muffins, bagels and cupcakes, as well as breakfast and lunch options, the space provides indoor and outdoor seating and is designed to accommodate the growing walk-in traffic offered by the downtown location.
With more than 25 years of experience, owner Dara Reimers, a member of the Bread Bakers Guild of America, has often participated in high level international events. Winner of the Bread Bakers Guild of America national title in Artistic Design as a member of the 2008 Team USA group that competed at the Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie in Paris, France. Reimers also served as the 2011 coach of the United States baking team that topped 11 countries in the Sigep Bread Cup in Italy.
