AARP chapter to meet Oct. 14
PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet at noon Monday, Oct. 14, at the First Congregational Church, East Main Street.
Lunch will include macaroni and cheese and chicken. Cost is $6.50.
Reservations are needed by Friday, Oct. 11, by calling Ruth at 744-9069.
The business meeting will begin at 1 p.m. The program will be “Too Much Stuff,” by Marilyn Newell. Members are reminded to bring donations for the Food Pantry.
Benefit Oct. 12 for David Bragg
BUCKFIELD — The Sumner Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will hold a benefit for David Bragg from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Buckfield High School.
Supper consists of beans, hot dishes, salads, rolls, desserts and beverages.
There will also be raffles.

Free community lunch Oct. 16
OTISFIELD — A free community lunch (donations accepted) will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Community Hall, Route 121.
Menu will be corn chowder, minestrone, sandwiches, salad and dessert.

Waterford suppers start Oct. 17
WATERFORD — Waterford Community Suppers will begin again on the third Thursday of each month through May. The first supper will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Wilkins Community House, in Waterford Flat on Plummer Hill Road behind the village green next door to the church.
Welcome are folks from the community and surrounding towns who would like to share a supper and socialize. Bring a favorite dish to share. Rolls, bread and beverages will be provided.
