Neighborly Seniors meeting
PERU — The Neighborly Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the old Peru School. They will be observing the 44th anniversary of the club.
There are still seats available for the bus trip to Indian Head Resort on Sunday, Dec. 8, for the Christmas show. The cost is $59. For information call Connie Tutlis at 364-4189.
Mahoosuc Trust annual meeting
BETHEL — The 24th Annual Meeting of the Mahoosuc Land Trust will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in Ordway Hall at Gould Academy.
Following the election of directors and officers, Professor Andrew Barton will speak on his recent work, “The Changing Nature of the Maine Woods.” Membership renewals will be available at the meeting.
