RANGELEY – A public memorial service celebrating Sheila’s life was held on Saturday morning, Oct. 12 at the Rangeley Congregational Church, with the Rev. Cathie Wallace officiating. Sue Downes-Borko was the pianist and long-time friend, Jean Stewart, offered a personal eulogy and offered the reading “Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep.” Congregation hymns included “Amazing Grace” and “In The Garden.” The readings were Psalm 122 and 1 Corinthians 13. The postlude was the “Yellow Rose of Texas.” Following services, a comfort reception was held at the Kemankeag Masonic Lodge in Rangeley. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center and Funeral Home of Farmington.
