The Paul Taylor Dance Company remains one of the worlds most highly respected and sought-after ensembles bringing to life the wordless stories and unforgettable characters created by choreographer Paul Taylor.
Considered the greatest living pioneer of America’s indigenous art of modern dance, Taylor has created 139 dances since 1954, with many attaining iconic status. Known for covering a breathtaking range of topics within his dances, recurring themes include life and death; the natural world and man’s place within it; love and sexuality in all gender combinations; and iconic moments in American history.
