LISBON — After stepping out to a 1-0 advantage in the first half, St. Dom’s added a pair of insurance goals and held off a determined opponent to post a 3-1 win over Lisbon on Tuesday.

Ryan Lutrzykowski, Jon Sturgis and Austin Roy all tallied for the Saints (12-1-1) in a three-man attack. Jake Angelico gave the Greyhounds (6-6-2) a goal in the second frame.

Ben Sawyer made four saves for St. Dom’s, while Nate Bergeron turned aside 12 shots between the posts for Lisbon.

Monmouth 6, Winthrop 0

MONMOUTH —  Kyle Fletcher ignited a five-goal eruption in the second half as Monmouth overpowered Winthrop 6-0 in a regular-season boys’ soccer finale Tuesday.

Fletcher led the Mustangs (9-5) with four goals, including the 70th of his high school career. Hunter Richardson and Chandler Harris also tallied to complete the scoring.

Matthew Sekarak made 17 saves to preserve the shutout, while Kasey Smith deflected five shots for the Ramblers (2-11-1). 

Carrabec 2, Mt. Abram 1 (OT)

NORTH ANSON — Dsutin Crawford found the net with 1:24 left in overtime to give Carrabec a 2-1 victory over Mt. Abram in a MVC regular season finale Tuesday.

After a scoreless first half, Seth Burns gave the Cobras a 1-0 advantage with 33 minutes left in regulation. Keegan Rolbiecki answered for the Roadrunners (11-3) with a well-timed shot from 10 yards out to tie the contest. 

Trent Richardson made 11 saves for Carrabec, while Tristen Dyer turned back 10 shots between the posts for Mt. Abram.

Spruce Mountain 2, Telstar 1

BETHEL — Lucas Preble scored on a penalty kick in the second half to allow Spruce Mountain to pull off a 2-1 win over Telstar in more season-ending MVC boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

Tristen Begin scored on a break away to give the Phoenix a 1-0 lead. Bronson Dean helped the Rebels tie it up at 1-1 off a nice cross from Nik Conrad.

Dustin Jones made eight saves for Spruce Mountain, while Kellen True turned aside five shots for Telstar.

Oxford Hills 4, Cony 1

AUGUSTA — After a scoreless first half, Oxford Hills lit the board with four goals and went on to post a 4-1 victory over Cony in season-ending KVAC boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

Matt Beauchesne led the Vikings (5-9) with two goals, putting his squad in playoff position for the first time in 13 years. Luke Davidson and Joey Gallant also tallied to complete the scoring.

Jake Beauchesne made three saves for Oxford Hills, while Brandon Elwell deflected 15 shots between the posts for Cony (4-9-1).

Girls’ Soccer

Brunswick 3, Mt. Ararat 2

TOPSHAM — Anna Cowan bagged her second goal of the game with just five minutes left in regulation to give Brunswick a 3-2 victory over Mt. Ararat in a late-season girls’ soccer tilt Tuesday.

Cowan led the Dragons with a pair of goals, while her sister Madeline also tallied. Libby Ouellette and Christine Levesque each scored a goal for Mt. Ararat.

Haley Murano made 11 saves for Brunswick, while Kate Guerin turned back three shots for Mt. Ararat.
