MONMOUTH — Monmouth Museum’s Country Store will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 26, for a tasting party and book sales.
The free tasting will include coffee, tea and mulled cider.
Traditional holiday breads will include orange-cranberry bread, date-nut bread, pumpkin bread, with and without raisins, award-winning cinnamon apple bread, gluten-free corn bread and others.
Orders are being taken for these traditional holiday breads between Oct. 26 and Nov. 20. They will be delivered just in time for Thanksgiving.
Monmouth Museum also is selling the following historical books: “Farm and Turf Vol. I,” $25; “Farm and Turf Vol. II,” $25; “Monmouth: Center, North, East, South,” $25; and “Images of America: Monmouth,” $20.
Shipping is free before Dec. 15. Books can be purchased at ABC Clinic, Route 135, or by calling Jackie Wing at 933-2837.
These books offer readers a walk down memory lane through cherished and rare pictures along with locally told stories.
Proceeds provide support for Monmouth Museum’s projects, events and the quarterly newsletter.
